Principal's Message

Dear Panther Parents,

Welcome back to the 2024-25 school year!  I hope all of our Peters 4-6 families have enjoyed some down time over the summer and extra family time.  We are looking forward to welcoming all of our Panthers, both new and returning, on campus for the new school year.  

I have spent the last 17 years working in this community: first at Doig, then Walton, and now at Peters, and I love our school and students.  Here at Peters 4-6, we pour our hearts and souls into helping students achieve our GGUSD Goals: Academic Skills + Personal Skills = Lifelong Success.  I am proud of the yearly academic growth our school has shown on state test scores, proud of the reputation our students carry with them to each of their respective intermediate schools, where they are known for demonstrating their R.O.A.R. traits of Respect, Ownership, Attitude, and Responsibility, and proud of the team I lead when I see former students come to visit and tell of their accomplishments.   

I firmly believe a good education is the key to lifelong success, and students reach their highest potential when the school and home work together to develop both academic and personal skills in our students.  Throughout the year, we will use this website, ParentSquare messages, and our Instagram account to keep you up to date on what is happening at our school.  I also invite you to participate in our PTO and attend or volunteer at our parent meetings and community events.  

I look forward to getting to know you and your students as we work together to support them on their educational journey.  Go Panthers!
