Parents, we are asking for your help in maintaining high, consistent dress standards to support study and learning.  The principal and staff of Peters Elementary will enforce the following dress and grooming standards.

CONSEQUENCES

By working together, we can promote an orderly school atmosphere and a safe instructional environment for our students.  To do so, if students come to school wearing clothing that does not meet our standards then:

  1. Parents will be contacted to bring a change of clothing.
  2. If parents cannot be reached or are unable to deliver a change of clothing, students will be required to change into school-provided clothes.
  3. If any inappropriate accessory item is worn or brought to school, the item will be taken away and returned at a parent appointment.

Support from our parents is essential.  We will do our part on the campus but, when shopping for school clothes for your child, please be aware of our dress code and buy appropriately.  Thank you for your continued support.
